Well let me start from the beginning. I once had a dream and that was to give something back into the northern soul scene that no one else as done and to reform a Detroit soul group from the 1960s and to bring over to the UK to perform. The group I have always loved that group is The Fabulous peps. I Have been talking to Joe Pep Harris for the last few years over the phone and finally met up with him and the two other originals Tom Storm and Ronnie Abner last February 2007 In Detroit. I Told them I wanted to take them to the UK to perform again and they all was up for this especially Joe Pep. Well I finally got the right venue and with the help of Chris Waterman New century soul it was all agreed and at this point i would Like to say Thank you and lots of respect. As the date got nearer Tom and Ronnie could not make the trip for reasons so Joe pep brought into the group Trey Stone and Steve Calloway , Steve was an original member form another Detroit group In The 1960s called The Professionals. With Steve in the line up we could now include the Northern soul Rare Track " That's why I love you " Which would be a big bonus for Northern soul fans over here to hear this live. Well Saturday 26th January 2008 at 1 am came live on stage The Fabulous peps to a standing ovation and much-ed loved what they deserved and wow what a awesome show they gave us and Joe pep voice as not changed over the years what a voice I can see know why they called them Fabulous. Steve and Trey done themselves so proud and did not put a foot out of Place and they both looked so cool Wow what a show. The UK treated them with love and respect and the night before the show they was on live on BBC Radio on Mary Fox Soul and Motown show. We Have had loads and loads of Brilliant feedback and it's still being talked about even as I Type this. The peps will 100% be back over here , Me and Joe are working on a few ideas Joe also confessed to me That he loved going back on stage as a pep and also it was a dream for him also.
